SATURDAY EVENING SERVICES DURING ADVENT
Recognising that many people find attending church on a Sunday with modern
work, sport and family arrangements difficult, we are running a pilot in Advent
offering an early Eucharist on Saturday evenings at 5.30 pm. The schedule will
be as follows:
Saturday 7th December, 5.30 pm at St Mary’s
Saturday 14th December, 5.30 pm at All Saints
Saturday 21st December, 5.30 pm at St Mary’s
Our Roman Catholic friends have been offering this option for some years.
This service will last about 30-40 minutes only, after shopping and sports results
and leaving the Saturday evening free.
