May I say how thrilled I was to have such a warm and inviting welcome at my Induction Service on the 15th December?
I had quite forgotten what moving occasions these services are and I felt such a sense of smiling embrace in the service and during the buffet afterwards.
I know what a huge amount of effort and preparation went in and knowing that will remain with me for a long time.
North Cheltenham is a unique place of course and very different to the Forest of Dean.
Having spent the last ten years as a rector in the heart of the Forest, and as a curate there before that, it is a privilege to come to you now
and I look forward to being your team rector, sharing the Good News especially at Christmas time and going forwards, sharing cake and tea with you!
